Lifeline on Timeline
Last updated: September 17, 2026
Oneline is a personal timeline app created by Jay Patel (“Oneline,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy is here to help you understand how we handle your information when you use Oneline and our services.
You can add personal details like:
-
Event titles and subtitle
-
Start date and optional end date
-
Notes and checklists
-
Categories
-
Places
-
Journeys and customization preferences
By default, this info stays right on your device. We don’t use a separate server to collect or store your timeline content. You’re in charge of what you choose to add.
iCloud Sync
Oneline offers an optional iCloud Sync feature, by default iCloud sync is on.
-
If you turn it on, your data may be saved in a private iCloud database linked to your Apple Account and shared across your Apple devices.
-
Apple handles iCloud storage and syncing, so it follows Apple’s privacy policy and terms. We don’t see your Apple Account password or payment details.
-
You can manage your data in Oneline’s settings or your device settings.

Places and Location Info
Oneline lets you link places to your events. When you pick a place name, coordinates, or search term, we might use Apple tools like MapKit and local search. Oneline doesn’t keep track of your location or save background history. Any location details tied to an event stay with your other Oneline data—either on your device or in iCloud if you’ve turned on iCloud Sync.
Photos, Exports, and Sharing
Oneline might ask for Photos access when you save a journey. We only use that access to finish what you asked—we don’t scan or upload your whole library. When you export or share, you pick where it goes. Whatever you share with another app, person, or service follows their privacy rules.
Purchases and Subscriptions
Oneline offer yearly subscriptions or one-time lifetime purchases through Apple’s In-App Purchase. Apple handles payments, so we don’t see your full card details. We use RevenueCat to manage purchase status and Pro features. RevenueCat might handle info like:
-
A user ID just for our app
-
App and device details
-
Receipts and transaction info
-
Subscription status and end dates
-
IP address and diagnostics
We use this to confirm purchases, restore Pro features, and keep Oneline Pro running smoothly. You can check RevenueCat’s privacy policy here: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy/
Diagnostics
If you’ve chosen to share analytics in your Apple device settings, Apple might send us crash reports, performance details, and a bit of diagnostic data. We only use this to fix issues and make Oneline better—these reports aren’t meant to include anything personal from your timeline.
How We Use Your Info
We use what we process in Oneline to:
-
Keep the app running smoothly
-
Save and sync your data
-
Show events, journeys and places
-
Confirm purchases and restore Pro access
-
Fix crashes and technical hiccups
-
Help with support questions
-
Keep the app safe and secure
-
Sharing Your Info
-
We don’t sell or rent your personal details.
We might share info with service providers only when needed for features like:
-
Apple, for App Store purchases, iCloud, MapKit, and platform services
-
RevenueCat, for purchase checks and access management
-
We may also share info if the law requires it or to protect our rights, our users, or the app’s security.
-
Keeping and Deleting Data
-
Data stays on your device until you delete it, use Oneline’s tools, or remove the app.
-
With iCloud Sync on, deletions can spread across your devices—and iCloud follows Apple’s rules.
-
Apple and RevenueCat may keep purchase records to handle transactions, manage access, prevent fraud, and meet legal needs.
Kids’ Privacy
-
Oneline isn’t built to knowingly collect personal info from children through separate accounts or ads. Kids should use Oneline only with a parent or guardian’s permission and guidance when the law requires it.
Security
-
We use sensible tools and steps to keep Oneline safe, but no system is ever 100% secure. Please help keep your device, Apple Account, and passcode safe from others.
International Processing
-
Apple and RevenueCat might handle your info in other countries. Their privacy policies and local laws guide how they do this.
Updates to This Policy
-
We might update this Privacy Policy if Oneline changes or new rules come up. We’ll show a new “Last updated” date using Oneline after an update means you agree to the new version.
